What happens in a consultation
Dr Nzaumvila takes a full history, examines you, explains the likely diagnosis in plain language and agrees a treatment plan with you. Where further tests, imaging or a specialist opinion are needed, a referral is arranged.
Chronic disease care
Patients living with diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, arthritis, HIV or thyroid disease are followed up on a scheduled basis, with medication reviews, blood tests and lifestyle support at each visit.
Substance use disorder care
Nyaope and other substance use disorders are treated as medical conditions, without judgement. Care combines medical management — including methadone-assisted treatment where clinically appropriate — with counselling, family support and referral to social work and psychology on site. Confidentiality is maintained at all times.
